The Love Song
When I was a child,
I thought and acted like a child.
Now I strive to put
My childish ways behind me.
Three things remain:
Faith, hope and love.
And the greatest of these
Is love...

Love is patient.
Love is kind.
It does not envy,
Never boasts or takes pride.
Love never seeks for itself,
But honors all around.
Love never, ever fails.
Love resists anger
And naming other’s wrongs.
It shuns all evil
And rejoices in the truth.
Love protects, trusts,
Hopes, and perseveres.
Love never, ever fails

If I follow the law, but do not love, I have nothing.
If I serve the needy, but do not love, I gain nothing.
If my faith moves mountains, but I do not love, I am nothing.
Do all you do in love.
Do everything in love.
When I was a child,
I thought and acted like a child.
Now I strive to put
My childish ways behind me.
Three things remain:
Faith, hope and love.
And the greatest of these
Is love, yes love.
The greatest of these
Is love…. love…. love!
